“I rarely leave reviews, but I wanted to make sure I took the time to leave this review. First, Chris and Whitney are incredibly responsive. Their pristine home looks exactly like the pictures. It’s in a beautiful location where are you can watch the sunrise over the mountains from the front porch. It is equipped with high end furnishings from the silverware all the way to the washer and dryer. Everything is in pristine condition and clean! We were so sad to leave! I highly recommend this property! Thank you for sharing your beautiful rental with us!”

“This home was perfect for a weekend of fun with my cousins. The house was very clean & the decor made us feel so zen every time we stepped foot inside. We enjoyed the record player so much upon arrival. Mornings felt refreshing with the swinging chairs provided at the front of the house. The attention to detail with the decor cannot be overlooked. “5 star house! We had a perfect weekend in Joshua Tree at Chris and Whitney’s home! Notes: - about 5m drive from the 7JTree entrance - the house is on a slight incline so there’s a great view of the neighborhood - super cute decor in every room! It felt unique and modern but also comfortable and inviting - great communication and support from hosts! We ran into a minor issue with some outlets, but it was addressed and fixed right away.”

“Wow! What a fantastic house and amazing hosts! Chris and Whitney were so responsive and helpful. When we arrived the house looked EXACTLY like the photos. We have two girls who were thrilled with the sun and moon rooms. They are both big pinterest ladies and my teenager said the house aesthetic is what she aspires to have :-) Beds were super comfortable and heat quickly made the house cozy in 30 degree temps. The swinging chairs were a huge perk and the record player boasted fantastic old and new albums. The kitchen is smartly thought out with intuitive items exactly where they should be. High end toiletries were available in both showers. The North entrance to Joshua Tree was great! The day prior we picked up maps at the Info center and planned out our trip. Zero crowds and easy to find hiking destinations. The guide center recommended getting there before 9 and we were glad we did. Rocky's pizza was delish and a great takeout option! Thank you so much, we will be back!”

“This Airbnb and 29 Palms were OUTSTANDING! The house was beautiful, comfortable, loved the records, the fenced yard for the pups, the location, the comfy beds, and the guidebook with excellent recommendations. So much to do in the area besides just Joshua Tree. Mural crawl around town, visit Amboy Crater (a volcano that you can hike & find a rock Jesus), stargaze with night vision goggles in JTNP with Addicted2Wonder (the best), take Insta pics at The End of the World sign (on the way to Amboy), crawl all over the rocks that people have dotted with art, and walk around the town to cool local shops and eateries. We loved Grnd Sqrl, 29 Palms Inn, Kitchen in the Desert, Joshua Tree Saloon, and The Rib Co (best ribs and cornbread any of us have ever tasted). The sunrises from the house are mesmerizing. And the locals are very very nice and helpful. The entrance to JTNP by the house is an easy quick drive and honestly more beautiful than entering from the south entrance. 10 stars!”

“We had an amazing weekend stay. The place is very close to Joshua Tree National Park. The house is on a hill so the view is awesome. One of the days was too cold to go hiking so we stayed at the house. The wood fireplace was super cozy and warm. There were lots of games to play. There was even an old school Vinyl record player with SO many records. The kitchen was also very spacious, clean and well stocked. Chris and Whitney were super responsive and helpful. Overall, one of the best Airbnb places we stayed at.”

“It was a perfect beautiful place for a weekend getaway. Instructions for everything was very clear and entire place was extremely clean. You get what you see, meaning the entire place looked exactly like how the picture looked online. The place was quiet and bright and just perfect! “If I could give more than five stars I would! Walking into the home it was a breath of fresh air. Immaculate and well set up. My 20 year old daughter and I had so much fun playing records and having Jenga challenges. Beds were super comfortable and we loved sitting on the porch swings. Soooo close to Joshua Tree entrance and we had a fabulous time there. Would definitely want to stay again if we are back in town!”

“I’ve long dreamed of visiting Joshua Tree National Park, and for my daughter’s 16th birthday we planned this visit.. being able to easily drive to the park for sunset and sunrise hour was a must for us. Staying at Chris and Whitney’s place made it easy and possible for this dream to come true. We enjoyed every single moment. Highlights: The house is beautifully decorated, has great amenities, the hosts were amazing, great communication, lots of great recommendations, the neighborhood was peaceful (how I like it), and it was close to the park which was a MUST for us. We also enjoyed visiting a few spots in Joshua Tree (town) which was also close by. I can’t recommend this place place. Thank you Chris & Whitney.. I plan on coming back with the whole family one day. “

“This is a genuinely beautiful space, and a wonderful place to stay in 29 Palms. Pulling up to the house, we were met with a handful of beautiful Gambel's quail which hang out in the area. The interior (and exterior) are what you see in the pictures listed. It's a beautiful, clean, and modern space which sits on a hill facing east, so not only are you treated to a beautiful view of the mountains/valley and 29 Palms, but you have an excellent place to watch the sunrise (especially from the cozy swings out front!). It's very convenient to the North entrance to Joshua Tree National Park, and everything worth doing in 29 Palms is an easy walk (~5 minutes). The hosts' recommendations for things to do in the area are certainly worth paying attention to, but even further, they keep a book where other guests have left a record of their own experiences and recommendations, which is fantastic. Chris and Whitney were abundantly communicative, and very easy to work with. Overall great experience.”

They left helpful instructions to answer any questions, had a great collection of older albums & a turntable & even had a washer/dryer. It had a creative southwestern design motif that was very inviting. The neighborhood is not in a top notch location but quiet & convenient to the highway. I would stay there again!”

“Chris and Whitney’s place is amazing. Fine finishes and desert vibe. They are so friendly and easy to have as hosts! The house was lovely and had great supplies. The kitchen is beautiful and well stocked with everything needed for cooking. The fireplace was so wonderful - we had several fires which was awesome! Fire pit in the back yard a plus as well. The bedrooms were lovely and the whole place was just an excellent experience. Very close to the east entrance of the park and Chris and Whitney give great recommendations for local restaurants and places in JT too! Thanks for a great time!!!!”

“We spent a few days in Chris and Whitney’s Airbnb while visiting family for Thanksgiving. The space is beautiful and matches the photos. We loved the stylish decor and record player. They were very responsive to questions and check-in was a breeze. The place is situated on a hill above town. I enjoyed several sunrises while drinking my coffee on the front porch. It’s close to everything, including the North entrance to the National park, which was less busy than the West entrance. And thanks to Chris and Whitney’s recommendations we enjoyed some great meals out at local restaurants and got some yummy pastries at the local bakery. We look forward to returning.”
